I'm Sofia, born and raised in Portugal and currently based in Aljezur, a small town in paradise. I'm a portuguese teacher, I teach portuguese in Aljezur and also on-line to people all over the world. I love helping people in the process of learning our beautiful language. I also manage our family house. This property is something! We love spending vacations here with the kids, enjoying the warm breeze of summers or the fireplace on winter time. The project has the signature of the family's architect, João Trindade. It was featured in many architecture magazines around the world. This was in 2009. The villa it's not a luxury house nor a touristic investment. We are opening our family house, equipped as a vacation place, to all guest around the world. I'm very keen to assist our guests in every way they need. We love it! I hope you'll love it too!

The house comprises two wings interconnected by a terrace inspired in moorish architecture. This is not a touristic facility. It's a second home we rent out some months of the year - legalized as an AL accordingly to portuguese laws. What to expect: a beautiful design house that is a family vacation villa and not a luxury touristic place. The pool's maintenance is provided by a specialized company however sometimes the water turns into greenish when high temperatures and high usage happens simultaneously. When this happens the company provides quick assistance and in 24h to 48h the water is cristal clear again. The house has a powerful heater in each bedroom and a fireplace in the living room that heats the living room and kitchen. It's coated with a thermal insulation material and has double glazing. The property has 5000 square meteres and has a fence all over but we can not guarantee that your dog will not find a way to scape if he is that kind of dog.

The house is in the outskirts of Evora in a rural area with other villas nearby. The nearest neighborhood with services it at 2,5km from the house.
