The small and quiet Roaz de Bandeira House is located in the centre of Olhão, 5 minutes' walking from the train station and bus. The entire property has free WiFi access. Each bright room has a unique decor of navy inspiration with unique handicraft pieces elaborated in the property. All are fitted with wooden floors and includes bed linen and towels. Guests can enjoy a breakfast composed of local seasonal products and from small producers, whenever possible between 9H00 and 10H00. Please note that a communal kitchen is available for guests, every day between 11:00 and 22:00. You can also find restaurants with fish dishes and local seafood within walking distance. Guests can also relax in the TV lounge or in the large outdoor patio, while enjoying a glass of Portuguese wine. Staff can assist with tourist information for activities such as sport fishing and cooking workshops or renting a car or bicycle to explore the city and surrounding area. After a short ferry ride guests can reach the white sandy beaches in the surroundings or discover the many trails of the Ria Formosa Natural Reserve. The Roaz de Bandeira House is 15 km from Faro Airport.

Cláudia is a Tourism Technician, she grew up between the Algarve and the Alentejo, between the maternal grandmother's small farm and the paternal grandmother's kitchen, hence her passion for food. She knows his roots and traditions, the most genuine dishes and knows how to identify the best ingredients. Luís is a Mechanical Engineer, he grew up with his feet in the Ria Formosa sharing his taste for boats with his father, he is a sport fisherman. He knows the best spots on the Algarve coast like few others. We are completely in love with Olhão, its life, its unique history, its secrets. We intend to share this passion with our guests. If this is what you are looking for then our property is ideal for you.

Since May 2014 the Roaz de Bandeira GuestHouse has the doors and heart open to travelers from all over the world. And because we value people, we welcome our guests as family. At Roaz de Bandeira House we recognize the importance of our local community as a way to contribute to their well-being and development, we always seek to recommend points of interest, restaurants and activities in our city. We use, whenever possible, local and national products from small producers. Our aim is to provide quality hospitality experience by providing a simple and genuine service to all our guests. Despite our small size we are constantly looking for new ideas to offer our customers a better service without forgetting the impact on our environment. Reducing water and energy consumption, using more efficient equipment, promoting the recycling of waste, eliminating single-use plastic items like cups, straws, plastic silverware, controlling the frequency of change of bedding and bath. So sensitizing everyone to the reduction of our ecological footprint. The Roaz de Bandeira House is a special place in the heart of the traditional and unique city of Olhão.
