Located in the central coast of Portugal, between Lisbon and Porto, land of legends and traditions, sea and fishing, simple and friendly people, Nazaré still maintains the authenticity that inspired writers and dazzled artists. To discover Nazaré is to get lost in its narrow streets, stroll along the immense golden sand beach, take the century-old Funicular and admire the awesome panorama from Sitio's viewpoint. Walk up to Pederneira and be stunned by the amazing view over the town and its fishing harbour. Stop by to eat good grilled fresh fish, a succulent fish stew or delicious seafood in one of the village's many restaurants. In winter time, from October to February, come and discover the biggest waves in the world in Praia do Norte.
