Paulo is an experienced sailor who has crossed the Atlantic between Portugal and the Caribbean as well as several trips to the Madeira Islands and the Azores and also several crossings of the Bay of Biscay. Coastal sailing along the Portuguese coast are to many to remember. He does most of the boat's maintenance and is always looking for new upgrades. Unfortunately, costs prevent him from doing everything he'd like, but with time, he'll get there. He also advises his friends on boat purchases and on solutions to the problems that arise on their boats.

The marina is located in the Doca de Alcantâra between the historic area of Belém (30 minutes walk along the river) and the city center (30 minutes walk along the river). The tram and bus stop is 150m and the train station is 400m. The train goes to Cascais and to the beaches of Axias, Carcavelos and Estoril. It is a very pleasant 40 minute trip to Cascais with the train line by the sea most of the way, There are several good restaurants in the area and it's a very safe neighbourhood.
