My wife and I moved here in 2005 after deciding to leave the London city life behind. We started a surfschool and guesthouse in Lagos of which we were blessed with huge success. However, we always felt a calling to Monchique and finally made the change in 2020 to move to the country for a quieter life. Whilst living in Monchique, we had a wonderful time getting to know the town and its locals and we know you will enjoy this too.
