Love Tomar is above all a quiet and relaxing home. It was totally renovated recently and decorated by the interior designer Ana Raposo, from Emporium Deluxe. Her singular and beautiful taste transformed harmoniously this old house into a modern and classic home, priming for its comfort, warmth and homeliness. Charming yet simple and timeless, embraced in an open area at the ground level there's both kitchen, dining and living area. The bathrooms and bedrooms being on the upper floors makes this house not design for people with reduced mobility. The kitchen offers top of the range new appliances and also a dishwasher. There's also a washer/drier, two modern and private bathrooms, a safe in the master suite, also air-conditioner and flat screen tv in each room and the living room area has books and board games that can be used by guests. The top and bottom floors have smoke and carbonmonoxy detectors and also extinguishers. You'll find everything you need in this house and if you don't just ask. Every little detail was thought to offer you a comfortable, safe and serene staying. We aim to provide our guests with an unforgettable experience by assuring that the house is up to the highest standards of cleanliness, comfortability and safety. Also, by being centrally located, you will be keeping your family close to the main sights, within a short walk from the house there's the convent and all cultural life of this beautiful city of Tomar.

After living many years abroad in different countries, my international family and I, decided to reside in Portugal and lay roots here. The whole family loves it due to the relaxing atmosphere, good weather, great food and lots of new things to explore. Love Tomar is the fulfillment of a long held dream of hosting our own property in a beautiful location. Tomar was on the top of our favorite cities in Portugal, so it's no surprise we got a house here and now we would love to share it with others, hence the name. We love to travel and throughout the years we stayed in many houses and hotels. We tried to use our own experiences to create a perfect retreat in the heart of this incredible city, welcome our guests with the best care and provide exceptional personalized service to ensure that while you're traveling this will be your safe and relaxing home. We will love to share our beautiful house with kind and respectful people who love to travel, explore and immerse in new cultures. We love Tomar, besides its undeniable historical interest and cultural value, for its beauty, its bustling life, with little cafes, terraces, restaurants, museums, sightseeing, river walks and many trails. You will love Tomar for all it has to offer and for the hospitality and charm of its people. The house rules are just a few and simple: all personal travel reservations have to be booked by the guests themselves; guests staying overnight have to provide their personal information as required by Portuguese law; no unregistered guests can stay overnight; extra guests will be extra charged by booking; no parties or events; no pets; no smoke; report any damages and/or breakages ASAP. Towels, sheets and pillows damaged or missing will be extra-charged. Ask for extra amenities such as crib and highchair since they will not be at the property unless they are requested. Enclosed parking down the road from the house costs 6 euros/day.

The house is just around the corner from Pelourinho Square, very close to the Mouchão Garden and the river. To get to Tomar Castle just follow the paved road that starts at the square. The National Forest of the Sete Montes can be visited by descending the castle. You can also visit the Convento de São Francisco and its beautiful chapel. Not far is the Matches Museum, with more than 40,000 matchboxes. The Old Jewish Quarter believed to have the oldest synagogue in the country and the Abraham Zacuto Hebrew Museum. In Praça da Republica you can visit the Church of S. João Baptista. In Corredoura and its many restaurants, cafes and pastry shops, try to taste a few Beija-me Depressa. The Pegões Aqueduct is just a few minutes by car. Several walking trails: Panoramic trail of the Tagus between Vila Nova da Barquinha and Constância; Walkways of Penedo Furado in Vila de Rei, Cascatas Trail, in Olalhas, Tomar. Almourol Castle island only a few kilometers from Tomar. You can access it by boat, visit it with guided tours by Tritejo-Touristic Tours in a solar boat and enjoy a romantic sunset with a delicious meal made with local produce and wines.
