The home has two large comfortable bedrooms w. ceramic stoves for extra coziness and heating during chilly nights. The home is focused on the large open kitchen and sofa area. The large bathroom has a glass wall shower and vanity handmade with wood from a tree we had to fell 3 years ago. The shelf holds towels and baskets with personal hygiene items for you to use while staying with us :) The traditional ladder on which you dry your towels was salvaged from the burn pile and restored. Many items you find in the house were saved and restored also. The items that decorate and create the cozy feel you experience in the house, were inherited from grandparents and great-grand parents.

150 + year old stone home, renovated to provide comfort and convenience while remaining rustic and authentic. Bedrooms added in 1980, updated modern bathroom 2019, fully restored in 2022 which included a modern eco-heating system so the house is cozy and comfortable during the cold snowy winters. As a former farm house, and later local bar, rich in local history and connected to the past through family history. Saved from sale and demolishing by us and restored with love <3 (and wifi :)
