I'm a family man who moved back to the village to chase the childhood memories and the good life of the countryside. I invite you to visit me and my family, stay and eat in one of our old traditional wooden houses and have a taste of the incredibly full and happy life of Breb, our beloved village in Maramures. :) We will welcome you with hospitality and introduce you to the great life of the Maramures countryside. We love to interact with our guests and present them with the best of what the village can provide.

Property information

If you are looking for the place where time has stood still for decades, even centuries, you have found it and it is called Breb! We are a Romanian family who will welcome you in these traditional wooden houses, about a hundred years old, saved and restored in one of the most authentic villages in Romania. This is not just accommodation! This is a unique experience that should not be missed. The names of the houses are given after the elders who lived in them and filled them with life. Piștau's House and Ștefan's House will be known by these names forever. We've kept them authentic, with most of the old elements intact, while giving them the comfort and amenities that all guests need and appreciate. Piștau's house has 3 double bedrooms, and Ștefan's house has 2 triple bedrooms. On the ground floor there is a bathroom, a kitchen, a porch with old refurbished benches. One of the bedrooms also has a baby swinging crib. We also have a play area full of toys, because we love children and we want all the families who visit us to feel perfectly comfortable with their children in our village.

Neighbourhood information

We recommend you try also our traditional Romanian restaurant, located close by, called Casa lu' Dochia, to have a full and unforgettable experience. Our food is natural made with local ingredients from farm to table. Our Cook was born in the village and learned her craft from her mother. The village is a great natural and authentic place. Explore it by foot or let us know if you want to book a horse and carriage to make it more memorable. Close by there's a lake, a mountain and miles and miles of green and wild countryside - we suggest hiking or mountain biking.
