Originally built in 1910 during the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Castelului Boutique Guesthouse is steeped in history, once the gatekeeper’s residence and auto service for the former bank in the same courtyard (constructed in 1894). The former bank is now a private residence divided into apartments, home to several families. Recently renovated to reflect its original 1910 Austro-Hungarian elegance and charm. The guesthouse spans three levels: the ground floor houses a generous 30 sqm garage; the second floor, accessible via an interior staircase, features a modern open-space kitchen and living area (30 sqm) and a fully equipped 4 sqm bathroom. On the top floor, the attic bedroom (25 sqm) offers panoramic views of Tampa Mountain. Located in Brașov’s charming Old Town, the property is just a 2-minute walk from Strada Republicii, the city’s main pedestrian shopping street. Council Square (Piața Sfatului) is a 10-minute stroll away, while the beautiful Sub Tampa promenade can be reached in just 5 minutes. The area is surrounded by some of Brașov’s best cafés and restaurants, cozy, welcoming, and full of flavor, making it an ideal setting for both relaxation and exploration.
