The wing of the square facing the square served as the headquarter for the first city hall of Sibiu. The construction existed already since 1324, and functioned as the city hall until 1494, the basement being used as a prison even after this date.

The hotel is situated in the Small Square(Piata Mica), one of Sibiu's three main squares, alongside The Big Square(Piata Mare) and the Huet Square(Piata Huet). This is the hot spot of Sibiu's social and night life, our guests have easy access to a large variety of restaurants and pubs, and also lots of concerts, festival, outdoor theatre performances, movie screenings, etc. which are often hosted in the Small Square.
