The Beach is just across the road and if you love snorkeling just a 5 minute walk to the the lovely Fairyland Beach to enjoy seeing the fishes and swimming to the small island of Île souris. Lovely beaches and great for snorkeling. Anse Royale is the 2nd town on Mahé which has lovely people and it’s own unique charm. We are in the heart of Anse Royale there are beautiful beaches, if you enjoy snorkeling there is a superb beach at Fairyland where the small island of Île Souris is located. The beautiful spice garden at the Jardin du Roi is just a 10 minute drive away. And also it’s a must when you visit The Takamaka Rum distillery located at Au cap which is a 10 minute drive. They have FREE tours so you can see how the local rum is distilled and also sample before you buy a few bottles. Well worth the visit.
