In a glade of deciduous trees lies the whitewashed longhouse with its newly built annex of black-painted wood. The outside is matched by the inside, a cool and rural accommodation with a high cosiness factor. Three doors connect the house and the large wooden deck into a harmonious space. The bedroom at the entrance has its own entrance and is located in the new part as well as the kitchen, bathroom and living room with fire place. In the attic you can retreat to read, listen to music or watch TV. There is also a desk and space for a home office. The second half of the loft is occupied by a guest ward with two beds
My wife and I work in Brussels where we live in a city apartment with our small family. We bought our beloved lodge in 2020 out of desire to be closer to the Swedish side of our family and of course to nature. Ever since, we have spent half of the pandemic surrounded by countryside, got married in our garden and have enjoyed endless walks through most beautiful landscape with our dog Lotta, followed by a BBQ on our terrace. ​ We hope that we have created a space of tranquility that all our guests will enjoy to the fullest. It is this unique mix of countryside life and comfort in a truly unique location that make for a perfect escape from hectic every-day life.
The nature around the lodge surprises throughout the seasons with its different facets. The close-by forest invites to long hikes alongside the local stream in the spring, the renown Brösarp hills feature a sea of picturesque heather in the fall and the beach is only a couple of kilometres away for those warm Swedish summer day. There is truly a setting for everyone in Österlen.
