Welcome in our cosy simple wooden cottage with amazing lake views! Slow wild living. Experience the silence, peace & beauty of Swedish Lapland. !! Very important to know: from October till end of May there is NO running water and the hottub cant be used due to the cold/ freezing tempatures. We provide water in jerrycans as much as you need! !! The cottage is situated on our own land behind our house but we will respect your privacy & you will have your own living space outside including outdoor furniture & easy acces to forest & coastline. The little cottage has one bedroom with two single beds and bedlinnen towels are included. In the livingroom is a bed sofa that can be turned into a 140 cm wide bed and can sleep 1 extra guest. A small but well equipped kitchen with the best views while doing the dishes. You will find a fridge, freezer, oven & electric cooking stove. The bathroom has a shower with a little boiler to heat up for a warm (short) shower during end of may till half October & a combustion toilet. Simple upgrid living! Plenty of pillows and blankets to keep you warm & comfy inside and outside. Electric heating inside. Use of the hottub during april until november is free & wood to fire up by yourself the hottub is included.

We are located in the wildernes of Swedish Lapland. Arjeplog is a 45 minute drive where you will find 2 supermarkets, gas station etc. Nearest supermarket is 40km away. Coming from Norway/ route 95: shop in Jäckvik at the ICA supermarket. Coming from Sörsele/ Slagnäs: there are 2 supermarkets in Sorsele and a small shop in Slagnas. The last 20 km is over an gravelroad but it’s well maintained and easy to drive. Our location is not accesible by public transport. Arjeplog is a beautiful region with lots to explore, we love to help you out with travel advice & hand out local tips. We are located 25 km from the Silvervägen/ route 95. A visit to the polar circle and the Arjeplog fjälls are 1,5 hour drive away. The border with Norway takes 2 hours. The ferry to Lofoten from Bodo is a 3,5 hour drive. Arjeplog is a wild, welcoming and wonderful place! Located in Western Swedish Lapland, with mountain ranges, a border to Norway and the Arctic Circle cutting straight through the region.  In terms of geographical area, Arjeplog is one of Sweden's largest: 14,494.09 km2!  It is also the country's least densely populated municipality: only 0.2 inhabitant per km2 so we have plenty of space! Our beautiful municipality is the most water-rich in Sweden with 8,727 lakes, 3 rivers, and Sweden’s deepest lake, Hornavan. The light of the midnight sun makes the days last forever.
