Since the summer of 2015 Marc and Joanne are the proud owners of this old, beautiful and stately wooden house in mid Sweden. This authentic and historic inn has been established in 1836. After a lot of planning, building and renovation, the first part of THE LODGE Torsby opened its doors mid-summer 2016. Our guests have a choice from 10 newly renovated B&B rooms; all with their specific charm. Together we will make their stay a lasting Swedish experience. We ourselves are sporty and outgoing people and love to be outdoors in our beautiful natural environment. On spot you can rent a MTB, Sub board, canoe, kayak or a rowing boat. We have contacts with several providers of other outdoor activities, from ice fishing to hiking GPS or an unforgettable sled dogs tour with Siberian Huskies. On request, we can organize an attractive sports and activity programme.

THE LODGE Torsby is situated on the banks of the beautiful lake Nedre Brocken. THE LODGE Torsby is idyllically located besides lake Nedre Brocken and overlooking the surrounding mountains. It's the ideal place for many typical Swedish summer and winter outdoor activities. THE LODGE is close to Hovfjället (545 m) Nature Reserve, Sweden's southernmost 'fjäll' nature; perfect for hiking a biking. In winter it's excellent for beginning skiers (6 lifts and 15 slopes). Cross-country skiers can enjoy a variety of tracks and beautiful vistas. THE LODGE offers MTB, canoe, kayak, sub and boat rentals and is starting point of 150 km sign posten MTB tracks. Torsby is a sports minded town and mostly known for its biathlon stadium and the ski tunnel; even in midsummer you can enjoy a cross-country skiing experience here! We have contacts with several providers of outdoor activities, from canoeing to ice fishing, hiking or an unforgettable sled dogs tour with Siberian Huskies. On request, we can organize an attractive sports and activity programme. From our LODGE it is easy to make many pleasant trips and to visit interesting towns. Our accommodation is close to the E45/E16 the main route to mid- and north Sweden. A perfect place to stay and to enjoy life in Sweden.
