The house is located about 10 km from Sunne, which is a small town with about 5,000 inhabitants. Here you will find restaurants, systembolaget and shops. In the summer there is a bustling life with tourism. You can swim in Fryken as well as many other waters and ponds close to the house. Sunne sommarland is a large water park for young and old. Rotneros is a lovely flower park facility with playgrounds for the little ones. Mårbacka (2-3 km) Selma Lagerløv's home is worth visiting and there are guided tours every day in the summer. There are several golf courses within easy reach. In winter, Sunne ski are a great facility for alpine skiing. There are many good fishing waters that require a fishing license you can buy on böjda spön or online. There are many farms and animals near the house. Several of the farms offer self-picking of berries and vegetables in the summer. There are some bicycles for loan, but you need a car to get around
