The little red house is about 90m away from of the Spannsjö, on which's shores my farm is the only real estate.Your little red house has everything you need, no matter the season: sleeping room with 4beds, living room, bathroom, fully functional kitchen and your own washing machine. Wifi is in the house. The little red house is part of my farm, located directly at a lake. As soon as you step out of the door you find yourself in pure nature. If you are looking for easy entertainment, shopping malls, cinemas and bars, I'll have to disappoint you: In Spannbyn you will be for yourself. Away from the bright city lights. You will be here because you feel attached to nature and because you want to enjoy the beautiful silence of the Swedish forests. At least, this is what my guests tell me. Close to the little red house, there is another cozy cabin, which I rent as well. But don't you worry: since all my guests look for a quiet time, and since parties are not allowed anyways, there won't be any disturbance. As you also can see on the images, everything is arranged pretty cozy. Oh, by the way: in the kitchen you find a sofa which you can turn into another bed. The little red house is only for you. It is approx. 250m away from the main house on the farm, in which I permanently live. The cabin, which I also rent over AirBNB, shares the front yard with your little red house. Maybe interesting: if you are traveling with a larger group or you, as parents, want to have an own place for your children: there is the possibility of renting both places at the same (in total for up to at least 6 people).

Hej Hej, I'm Silke. Almost 17 years ago, I moved from Munich to Swedish nature with my dog. I enjoy the relaxed life in Sweden, the hospitality of the people and the fabulous dimension of nature. The farm is located in the Malingsbo-Kloten Nature Reserve. With 50,000 hectares, the reserve is the largest nature reserve outside the swedish fjäll. It is a very special area, as new buildings are prohibited and nature surrounds you from all sides. It is a retreat for many wild animals, such as moose, deer, wild birds, hares, foxes, beavers, badgers but also wolves, lynxes and bears are occasionally settled here. With a lot of luck you can hear the singing of the wolves. It is an area which invites you to immerse yourself in nature. You embraces of deep forests, quiet lakes and beautiful rivers. The area is criss-crossed by a network of hiking trails and canoe trails. There are many opportunities to take a break in shelters - often located closeby a lake. It also invites you to fish (available online with a valid fishing license). It is a place of retreat, not only for the animals but also for us humans. An immersion in the silence of nature - and a rediscovery of oneself. Even in winter, there are many opportunities to experience the snow-covered winter landscape. In relative proximity there are opportunities for skiing (alpine and nordic). A little north of Falun, you have the opportunity to discover the wintry landscape by snowmobile with the help of guided tours. Here at the lake you can try your luck at ice fishing - with a valid fish license (an ice drill is available here). Independent snow hikes are also possible. The sauna fits perfectly into the cold landscape to warm up - especially on a clear night with countless stars above you. And a cozy dinner in the barbecue hut by a campfire is super cozy when it's minus degrees outside. Welcome!
