In 2018 completely restored old farmhouse Micnek is located 700m from Bled lake, close to the rowing center, 1,2 km from the Bled castle, provides self catering accommodation in Bled. In the house there are two spacious apartments, Micnek for 2-5 persons and Micnek 1 for 2-6 persons. Each apartment can be booked seperately, but the house could be booked as whole.Pets are allowed. The property offers access to free WIFI. Both apartments have AC,bathrooms with free toiletries, a living room with wood stove, a library, a flat screen TV and seating area. The spacious kitchens have a dinning area, an electric stove, an oven, a fridge with a freezer, a washing machine, a dishwasher, a kitchen ventilation, a toaster, a kettle , microwave and necessaries for self catering. Each apartment has 40 m2 sunny terrace with mountain views. On the terraces there are barbecue facilities, deckchairs, chairs, a table and parasols. Micnek 1 has also new wooden hot tub. Storage for bicycles, motorbikes, skies and other sport equipment is available in the garage. We have large selection of bikes in different sizes for free for our guests. In the garage is also a dryer. Parking is free.

Hallo, we are Dusan and Zlata, unusual couple for 25 years. We live with our daughter and Zlatas mother in an old house with big garden in village 4 km from Bled. Dusan is teaching golf pro on nearby golf course, Zlata is a veterinarian surgeon specialised for small animals. We own 4 cats, 2 indian running ducks and 4 tortoise. We like to travel a lot to experience different countries, different customs, different food, meet new people,.. Like H.C. Andersen wrote: To move, to breath, to fly, to float, to roam the roads of land remote, to travel is to live. We have lots of hobbies, Dusan is also skilled carpenter, likes woodturning and lately he discovered blacksmithing too. Zlata enjoys gardening, ceramic and pottery and restoration of furniture. We used lots of our hobbies when we were restoring the old Micnek house for apartments. We really enjoyed in that kind of work.

The apartment is located in quite area of Bled, but everything is still in walking or cycling distance.From the apartment Micnek is just few minutes walk downhill to the Bled lake, its beach and walking path around the lake with magic views. Everybody visiting Bled has to visit the caste on the rock and small island in the middle of the lake and taste Bled kremsnita, special cake. Nearby Vintgar gorge, Pokljuka plato, Bohinj lake, traditional villages, medieval town Radovljica with immense manor housing apiculture museum, pharmacy museums and Siceva house are worth your visits. You can cycle the numerous bike routs, hike around Bled or high mountains, sightseeing or do some water sports. You can also play golf, mini golf, mountain bike, enjoy rafting on both Sava rivers, muntainclimbing, parachuting, gliding among others. Our beautiful capital Ljubljana is 50 km distance from Bled, its worth visiting, Slovenia is not big country, you can reach every corner of it in 2 to 3 hours. The Bled raillway station is 600m from Micnek, bus station is arround 300 m from the apartment. In summer months there are hop on hop off buses to the most interesting places in the sorroundings.
