The cabin is located in the heart of Triglav National Park with the Soca trail going right past the house. The area is great for hiking, with mountains all around the cabin, cycling, rafting & kayaking on the Soca river, canyoning, zipline, climbing. The Soca river source is onlay a 30min hike on the Soca trail away. The Mlinarica gorge is a 10min walk from the cabin, only a 5min walk away is the Kugy statue with amazing views of the surrounding mountains. Great places to visit are also: Mangard saddle (40min drive), Boka waterfall (30min drive), Nadiža river and the Napoleon bridge (45min away), Laghi di Fusine - Italy (45min drive), Russain chapel (30min drive). Great hikes: Jalovec mountain, Triglav, Krn lakes, Mojstrovka, Slemenova špica, Razor and many more. The area has a rich history from WWI landmarks in the area (Kluže and Hermann fort, many outdoor museums of WWI, Kobarid war museum).
