Our house has an eclectic-romantic style. Helena Kovacic, my mother-in-law, went to Paris looking for work when Slovenia was part of Yugoslavia. It is in the French decoration of the 80s and 90s that Helena was inspired to decorate and build this wonderful structure. In 2018 we decided to open the doors of our home for the first time to travelers, tourists, businessmen and simple people who desire tranquility, nature and new experiences. It was then that the normal family home was accommodated and adapted to receive more people at the same time. My husband Eric and I, with our own hands, adjusted small spaces to make them private, and we beautified larger areas to make them common. The house is on the outskirts of the main village (Dobrovo). It was for this reason that we decided not only to rent rooms, but also to offer breakfast to our guests. Our way of preparing breakfasts has evolved thanks to the customers themselves. In addition, there is an inevitable influence of Cuban, Slovenian and French cuisine. It is precisely this that makes it unique and special. Our pool maintenance and cleaning system are in perfect working order, guaranteeing a refreshing and inviting swim for all our guests. I am Cuban in body and soul. I was born in Trinidad de Cuba on May 29, 1986. At the age of 25 I met Eric, my current husband; He vacationed in my city with a group of friends, I worked in the historic center as an editor for a local magazine, while selling handmade paintings. He fell in love immediately (love at first sight they call it), it took me just enough time to meet him. We got married that same year (2012), and that's how I arrived in Brda in November; where i still live We are currently a family of 4, and we are very happy and committed to our work.
