The location is right next to the main road leading to Ljubljana. Numerous shopping centers (Spar, Hofer, Mercator) as well as cafés, bakeries, pizzerias, and restaurants (Mihovec, Bencak) are close by. There is also a rich culinary offer by Lake Zbilje, on Golo Brdo, and in Topol near Medvode. For sports enthusiasts, there are tennis courts not far away, along with numerous opportunities for cycling and hiking in the Skofja Loka hills. Many other beautiful hiking trails near Ljubljana are also within reach: Smarna Gora, Katarina above Ljubljana, Grmada, Tosc, Osolnik, Govejek, Gonte, Jetrbenk. You should not miss the chance to visit the charming small towns in the surrounding area. Skofja Loka, Radovljica, and Kamnik, along with Ljubljana, are among the most popular tourist spots, offering many events throughout the year and featuring beautiful historic town centers. When in Kamnik, do not forget to visit the picturesque Velika Planina. Ljubljana, with its Ljubljana Castle, is so close that you will certainly visit it. For castle lovers, Skofja Loka Castle, Smlednik Castle, and Goricane Mansion are also nearby. The ski resorts Krvavec and Stari Vrh above Skofja Loka are only a 30-minute drive away. A bit farther are the magnificent expanses of Pokljuka and the Vogel ski resort above Bohinj, where every season has its own charm. Portorose and the Slovenian coast are less than an hour and a half away. Bled is under 40 minutes, and Postojna Cave only about 50 minutes. For guests arriving by train, the Medvode railway station is only 1 km from the accommodation. Train connections are a major advantage of our location. In just 15 minutes, you can reach the centre of Ljubljana or Kranj. The railway stations Lesce-Bled and Jesenice are only 40 minutes away. Through Ljubljana and Jesenice, there are numerous railway connections to other places you may wish to explore (Koper, Bled Jezero, Bohinj, the Soča Valley, Zagreb in Croatia, Novo mesto, and more).
