On a sunny bank in a completely peaceful environment without neighbors stands a house built at the beginning of the 19th century that is the perfect place for rest and relaxation. The house is intended for everyone who wants a few days away from the everyday rhythm and electronic devices, noise, light pollution, etc. At night, which it’s truly black here, the only light pollution is a bunch of stars in the sky. During the day, you are greeted by cows from the neighboring pasture and the song of birds from the forest, which is located only a few steps away. In order for your vacation to truly be a disconnection in the truest sense, there is (unfortunately) no television or Wi-Fi in the house. Without modern distractions, you can enjoy silence or genuine conversation, socializing with friends and family, reading your favorite book... But don't worry, mobile phones do work from here and the signal is strong, regardless of the distance. Despite the fact that there are no luxury appliances and devices in the house, the kitchen is equipped with all the necessary equipment such as a refrigerator, a stove with electric plates, a mini portable oven, a toaster, a water heater, a grill... The bathroom is also completely renovated and equipped with modern installations. The part of the house where the bedrooms and the living room are so-called The "house" with the bread oven is in its original condition. Remains of the black kitchen have been preserved. The upper floor with bedrooms and a living room with a large table has a modern design, but the touch of the old is given by the brick stove through which the upper floor is also centrally heated. With direct access to the terrace behind the house, where there is a convenient fireplace and it is pleasantly cool on summer days, nature and the nearby forest are right in the palm of your hand.

ACCESS: After you reach the village of Hleviše, there is a steep macadam path leading to the house, so access is limited to cars with a lower chassis. You can leave your car in the yard 200 m below, and the owners will deliver all your luggage to the house. Anyone with off-road vehicles with a slightly higher chassis will be able to access the house without any problems. The nearest shops and restaurants are in Žiri (circa 10 km away), but by agreement the owners can also deliver food to you. ACTIVITIES AND NEARBY TOURIST DESTINATIONS: For lovers of mountain biking, the location is a true paradise. It is also an excellent starting point for exploring central Slovenia by motorbike. From the Guesthouse 1820 you can take a hike to the top of the Vrh Svetih Treh Kraljev (roughly translated as The Top of the Holly Three Kings - an ascent nearby), which can be reached by a shorter or longer path through the hamlet of Hleviše. The Church of the Holy Three Kings stands on a scenic hill above the village of Vrh Sveti Treh Kraljev. From the top, which has a viewing platform, there is a beautiful view of the pre-Alpine hills. In the background you can see the mountains from Krn, Triglav, Blegoš, Ratitovec to the Karawanks. To the east of Krn mountain you can see Spodnje Bohinjska mountain, where Črna prst is the easiest to recognize. From the top with the lookout point you can also descend to the mountain hut which offers you a pleasant culinary experience. Guesthouse is located just over 12 km from Logatec and Vrhnika. It will take you only 40 minutes by car to get to the capital of Slovenia – Ljubljana. Postojna Cave and Škocjan Cave, as well as Lipica and Cerkniško Lake, are alsoclose by. Brnik airport (Ljubljana) is less than an hour's drive away.
