Cycling and hiking The surroundings of Bled are full of beautiful cycling and hiking trails. Among the more popular are trips to the Ojstrica hill, which offers a picturesque view of the lake, and Viševnik, suitable for more experienced hikers. Swimming and boating on the lake In the summer months, swimming in Lake Bled is a popular activity. You can rent a boat and explore the lake on your own, or choose to swim in the marked areas. Winter activities In winter, Bled is an excellent destination for ice skating in the Ice hall Bled or for visiting nearby ski resorts such as Vogel and Krvavec. Vintgar gorge The Vintgar gorge is about 4 km from Bled and offers breathtaking walks on wooden footbridges over the Radovna river. The view of the Šum waterfall at the end of the gorge is particularly stunning. Golf Bled has one of the best and oldest golf courses in Slovenia, which is located in a beautiful natural environment.
