Relax with the whole family in this peaceful and spacious accommodation. Our cottage in Polhovo Gradac is located in a quiet location near the river and the forest. There are plenty of green areas and a spacious yard perfect for gatherings and picnics. A private Finnish sauna and a wooden pavilion are available next to the cottage.

An excellent place to stay for anyone who loves nature, walks and hikes. Near the cottage you can find a nice footpath if you go to Grmada (cross the bridge and turn left). You can decide to have lunch at Farm Tourism "Mehačk" (open on Saturday and Sunday) where you can try delicious Slovenian food that is not too expensive. They also have a very good wine - Teran, and the property offers a nice view. It takes about 45 minutes to walk there. Another interesting walking route is if you go along the asphalt road or on the slope (at the second bend to the left). About 10 minutes further is the Church of St. Urša is about 30 minutes from it to the grada. You can also drive to the farm tourism "Mehačk" by car and park on the side of the road, and from there go around the "Grmada" Hill or go to the Katarina guesthouse "Dobnikar" - a wide selection of food (approx. 1.5 hours' walk) open every day. You can also get there by car. It is also a good choice if you go on foot to St. Lovrenca (approx. 2 hours walk). A very nice view of the church and the Polhogra hills. Do not forget to take water with you because there is no hut at the top. From the cottage you go to the castle where you can see the postal museum. Count Blagaj lived here, after whom the flower "Blagajevka" is named, which only grows in this area. Then you go to the right past the yellow house-Beekeeping and continue along the path. In the meantime, you can visit the (family) Polhograj adventure park (call ahead). The info point is in the buffet before you turn the car onto the slope towards the castle from the Ljubljana side and there is also a bus stop. At the info point you can rent electric bikes and get some other information. You can get snacks at the inn "Polhograjski dom" and you can also eat in the local inn "pri Pratkar" next to the info point. There is also a shop between the info point and the castle.
