Lookout Resort is a family house with three apartments and a garden. There is one smaller apartment available for guests on the ground floor, and two larger apartments on the first and second floors. In the basement there is a common washing and drying corner, a relaxation corner with cinema and sauna. In the garden is an additional summer kitchen, a pavilion with a barbecue are also available to guests. Lookout apartment Noneta on the ground floor has bedroom (2 guests), a living room with a kitchen, a bathroom, a toilet and a terace. Lookout apartment Galeta on the first floor has bedroom (2 guests), an additional room (2 guests), a living room (2 guests), a bathroom, a toilet, a kitchen and a balconie. Lookout apartment Rudiana on the second floor has one room with a kitchen (2 guests), an additional room (2 guests), a bathroom with a toilet and tree balconies. Lookout Resort is located in the green heart of Slovenia, in Rovte, at an altitude of 650 m, from where it is only a good half hour's drive to the capital Ljubljana and a good hour's drive to the sea or in the opposite direction to the Triglav National Park. A regional road that is very popular among cyclists and bikers runs through Rovte, along which you can drive over the mighty inland forests, hills and valleys towards the sea.

Leopold & Marija are husband & wife, one born in the city and the other in the countryside. Already in the 90s, together with our son, we escaped from the urban environment into the embrace of nature, where unimaginable opportunities for a better quality of life were offered. In this new environment, we established a mountain biking club in 1996 and set up the first Slovenian tourist cycling transversal LKT. While our son and other young club members became more and more inclined to adrenaline sports, we remained faithful to tourist cycling. In our family, we are witnessing today the unique connection between motorsport and tourism. Since we were cyclists, hikers and, above all, travelers, our desires and needs for active leisure are not foreign to us. In our old age, we are slowly calming down our sports activities and devoting more and more free time to others, especially to those who want similar experiences. Be our guest and you will not regret it.

If you just want to relax, you will definitely enjoy your free time at Lookout Resort, but if you want to be more active, you will have to get around on foot or by bike. You can visit some great attractions, such as the Anthony's Shaft Museum, the second largest mercury mine in the world, the Idrija's Lace Museum, the 160 m deep Wild Lake and water dams Klavže in the Upper Idrijca Natural Park, the intermittent Cerknica Lake, the Planina Field and the Planina Cave, a unique underground confluence of two rivers. Lookout Resort is definitely a great starting point for visiting some popular tourist world attractions such as the Postojna Cave and Škocjan Caves, the Predjama and Snežnik Castle, the Velika Planina Plateau, the Bled and Bohinj Lake, the Soča River Valley or capital city Ljubljana. The coastal cities Piran, Izola, Koper and the Italian Trieste are also not far away. For all those who want the most authentic contact with nature, we have quality e-mountain bikes for rent.
