Our house is perfect for couples or families. It is located in an authentic Istrian village of Gazon which is situated on a hilltop above the coastal towns of Koper and Izola. It has no other tourist capacities, so it remains still a normal living village. The village is surrounded by wineyards and olive orchards. The location of the house is a perfect spot for discovering Slovenian Istria as the inland of the country. The coastal towns of Izola and Koper are just 7 km away. Izola is accessible by bicycle or a good hour walk. It is a traditional stone house that still has its charms. The apartment has a large living room (NO KITCHEN), a doublebed bedroom, a bathroom, anteroom and a traditional balcony with stairs (baldur). It is furnished with original 19th century furniture. It is possible to arrange an additional bed in the living room. If you are coming with your own car there is a parking place in the shade of a large tree. Free Wi-Fi, Terrace, garden,with table, sun. A restaurant with local food is less then a kilometer away.

We are always present on arrival and departure of our guests. We will provide you all the information about the area at arrival or during you staying. Guest can also contact us anytime for the information they need. You'll be able to try our own traditionally produced vegetables, wine and olive oil. We make also a variety of herbal teas (tisanes) from local herbs. On demand we can arrange a continental breakfast.

There is a variety of sports to practice: the spot is perfect for cycling, you'll be able to try archery, we have also a SSI Scuba Diving School. You can discover the countryside in the shade of the olive orchards and forests following the footpaths surrounded by historic stone walls.
