I’m a retired grandmother, and hosting guests at Victoria's house brings me joy and purpose. I started this journey after the loss of my son, as a way to stay active, shift my focus and support his family. 🕊️ 💛 Meeting new people is my greatest pleasure – every guest brings a new story, a new smile and warmth to our home. I believe in kindness, sincerity and creating a welcoming atmosphere. 👨‍👩‍👦 I spend most of my free time with my grandson – we love hiking, cooking, baking, chatting and simply enjoying life. Together with my husband, we tend to our garden, growing vegetables and fruit. I love preserving seasonal produce, while my husband makes essential oils and hydrosols from our homegrown lavender. With the grandkids, we craft fragrant bouquets and lavender sachets. 🌸 We live for simple but meaningful moments – and we’re happy to share that spirit with you. Everything is ready for your stay, and we look forward to making you feel right at home.

Vipavski Križ is a truly special place – full of history, charm and tranquility. 🌺 🏰 Surrounded by stone walls and accessible through three historical gates, the town is crowned by the majestic Attems Castle. It now houses a school and kindergarten, while next to it you’ll find a Capuchin monastery with a historic library, and a cultural center with a café and art exhibitions. Wandering through the cobbled streets, you'll feel the presence of both noble and humble past inhabitants. 🎠 Just below the village is a circular walking path and a children’s playground. Beneath the castle, there's a shaded gathering area perfect for relaxing on warm days. 🏙️ Only 2 km away is Ajdovščina, a lively town where Slovenia’s first government was formed in 1945. Today, it's a modern hub with cinemas, restaurants, patisseries, shops, a library, post office, pharmacy, health center and bank. 🚶‍♂️ Nature lovers will enjoy the Hubelj spring and Lokar Trail, a beautiful educational path along the river. For recreation, the Police Sports Center offers indoor and outdoor pools, saunas, gym, courts and more. 🏊‍♀️ ⛰️ For hikers and cyclists, Mount Čaven (1250 m) and Gora Plateau (1000 m) provide scenic trails and stunning views.
