Villa Bohinca offers a very high level of comfort and facilities for groups of up to 12 people. Completely renovated and newly furnished in 2015 with high quality fittings and fixtures, the house comprises a raised ground floor with 3 bedrooms (one large double bedroom with balcony access, one twin bedroom and one bunk bed room) and a spacious bathroom with large shower enclosure. On the second floor is a wonderfully spacious open plan kitchen, living room and dining room with panoramic views and a balcony stretching the length of the floor. The living areas have been placed on this level to maximise the light and the breathtaking views (indeed it is hard to imagine better views in Bohinj). The wood burner, which is the centrepiece of the sitting area, ensures toasty winter evenings and plenty of atmosphere, although the house is also very well insulated. The second floor also offers a spacious bathroom with shower and a second living room / TV room, which works very well as a kids room but also has a double sofabed so that it can be used as an extra (sixth) bedroom for larger group sizes. On the top floor are two lovely attic bedrooms, one double with stunning private balcony (the third in the house) and a twin room to the rear of the house. All twin beds can be pushed together to make doubles. There is a further shower room on this level. On the basement level is the heating room, a table tennis room and summer kitchen. An outdoor BBQ and dining area in front of the house for al fresco summer meals complete the picture. The house has beautiful solid oak floor boards throughout, handmade doors, internet, 2 TVs, a particularly well-stocked kitchen with all equipment and utensils needed to make excellent meals as well as a toaster, kettle and microwave, plus a dishwasher, washing machine and new cooling fans for each of the bedrooms, among the many features which create a uniquely appealing place to stay in Bohinj.

Villa Bohinca is a spacious, bright 5/6 bedroom holiday home in excellent condition, sleeping up to 12 people. It has awe-inspiring open views over the entire Bohinj Valley and a huge array of summer and winter activities within easy reach (such as lake swimming, cycling, kayaking, rafting, ziplining, caving, canyoning, paragliding, hiking, paragliding, cross-country skiing at nearby, world-renowned Pokljuka and traditional skiing at Vogel, one of Slovenia’s best, snow-sure and most beautiful ski resorts, just 20 minutes drive away). The house is located in an elevated position in a charming and picturesque village, Jereka, just 8km from stunning Lake Bohinj (about 15 minutes drive), 4km from the very well-equipped main town in Bohinj, Bohinjska Bistrica (about 5 minutes drive), and a 20km / 20 minute drive to fairytale Lake Bled. Ljubljana airport is also close (about 45 minutes’ drive). There are many excellent restaurants within just a few minutes drive/bus/cycle. Completely renovated in 2015, and since further invested in and improved upon by its new owners, the house offers ample comfort, space and facilities, including an outdoor BBQ and dining area and table tennis room.
