We are Ivo, Ana, Lucija, Lenart, Gaber and Amadej - the Kobal family. Ivo started winemaking at 16 when he attended the agricultural school in Nova Gorica. In 1983, his father Jože was injured, and he took over the winemaking on the estate through a combination of circumstances. Through years of hard work and dedication to family tradition, we have become one of the leading wineries in the Karst region. We are proud of our 11 wines and sparkling wines and our "vinjak." Wine tastings and apartments complete the experience at the farmhouse.

Make yourself at home in our cozy and modern apartment in picturesque Štanjel, right at the foot of the romantic medieval village and Ferrari's Garden and close to all the main attractions. The apartment comprises a bright bedroom with a comfortable bed, a modern, fully equipped kitchen, a sofa, a TV, a free Netflix account, a beautiful bathroom, and a terrace overlooking the vineyard of the Kobal Family Estate. The apartments share a common seating area where you can have a coffee or a glass of fine wine from our homestead. In addition to a well-equipped kitchen, there is also a washing machine. You can park your car in the private car park next to the apartment, which has its own electric vehicle charging station. Our apartments are the perfect place for couples or families looking for a romantic location for a stay in the Karst region. Wine and sparkling wine tastings with homemade Karst cold cuts are also available in the house. Treat yourself to an unforgettable experience.

Štanjel is unique. First of all, you will be enchanted by its scenery. As you approach the imposing castle, stroll through the narrow stone streets, and step into the Ferrari Garden, the village will take you forever. You will be overwhelmed by the views of the Karst, the Vipava Valley, the sea, and the Gulf of Trieste. Stone, which is abundant in the Karst, has been used creatively by man since time immemorial. Štanjel is a beautiful example of stone architecture and construction. It has been declared a cultural monument that will remain in your memory forever.
