Relocating to Koh Samui from Cirencester, UK, in 2005, David's love affair with Thailand began in 1990, with Koh Samui emerging as his favoured destination. Motivated by the prospect of a new business venture, he made the bold decision to establish a thriving rental enterprise on the island. With a background in Cirencester's flooring business, coupled with extensive involvement in property development and rental, David's passion for creating diverse properties flourished in the UK. Seeking a fresh challenge, the allure of Koh Samui became irresistible. Since his move, David has successfully crafted 15 properties, including 11 luxurious villas available for rental. Ranging from 1 to 4 bedrooms, each villa boasts its own private swimming pool, with four offering breathtaking ocean views, all designed in unique and tropical styles. Notably, our flagship Villa Moonstone, a source of great pride, reached completion in January 2020. Navigating the complexities of villa development in a culturally diverse environment has presented intriguing challenges for David, but the rewards have surpassed expectations. The process has allowed him to push the boundaries of creativity and inspiration, resulting in a portfolio of remarkable properties. At Peacefulvillas, David is fuelled by a strong sense of motivation and dedication, engaging with visitors from around the globe who choose to stay and often return to our exclusive villas. In the past 20 years on the island, he has only returned to Europe twice, briefly visiting Milan and Madrid for the love of football and to support his beloved Spurs in the Champions League.

Outdoors is a lovely sun deck, sun beds, sun parasols, outside shower and attractive open-style Sala with table and chairs, overlooking the pool, together with built-in gas barbecue. Here you can enjoy fine dining during the beautiful, balmy evenings, cooking fresh meat and fish on the BBQ, purchased from the local market or store. The Villa is located 10 min drive south of Lamai Beach and just a 10 minute walk from local Laem Sett beach. At the Villa you will find many delightful and beautiful areas provided both inside and out for guests to sit, relax and enjoy the stunning tropical atmosphere that the villa offers. The Villa is located in charming area of Laem Sett. Within 5-10 min drive there are fine restaurants serving delicious food, mini-marts for your daily needs, well reputed massage shops and taxi services, etc. Within Laem Sett is a local beach, ideal and safe for children where the ocean is shallow. On the beach is the rustic Thai style Cool Bar where you can enjoy lovely food and drinks whilst soaking up the tropical atmosphere. Also Pole Pole Restaurant. Close by Centara Villas Resort is open to non residents with many facilities to enjoy, including smart restaurants and bars. Five minutes by car is the fishing village of Baan Hua Thanon where fresh fish, fruit and vegetables are sold at the local market. Also small local shops, doctors surgery, cafes, 24 hour Seven-Eleven grocery shop with ATM and Chinese Temple. Lamai is less than 10 min drive with a beautiful expansive beach, together with water sports and other facilities to enjoy. You have complimentary/free run around TOYOTA AVANZA automatic CAR included with villa rental. Please note: All our cars are insured, with the guest being responsible, and limited, for the first 20,000 Baht of any damage. There is no insurance on mopeds where the guest pays for any damage incurred. It is the guests' responsibility to ensure they also have their own comprehensive Travel & Health Insurance, and appropriate driving documentation for Thailand. All our vehicles will have a full tank of petrol for you. Please ensure you return the vehicle at the end of your stay with a full tank. You are responsible for the vehicle. We cannot replace it if it is in an accident. No 'off-roading' or driving in harsh terrain. The complimentary car is not to driven off the island. Lotus's Superstore and large food supermarket, Makro, both in Lamai, are 12 min drive from the villa. There are a number of 24 hour smaller convenience stores of 7-Eleven on the island, Nowhere on the island is more than 45 minutes drive away.
