You get 64 square metres of indoors and nearly an acre of outdoors. Nobody else can stay there, just you! Air and Phil have a small house nearby. The Tea Tree House gives you 64 square metres of indoor living space, in nearly an acre of prime nature. Wide sliding glass doors open up to the patio, big pond and huge rain tree. Sunsets and sunrises can be spectacular. Birdsong and activity is plentiful. You will feel a tremendous sense of space and peace from all the nature. It will feel like an escape from the world. King size bed with mosquito net. Toilets, basins and al fresco hot shower under the sky are connected at the rear. Natural soap and shampoo provided. Fast wifi, workspace, dining table, breakfast bar, comfy armchairs, fridge, oven, kettle, teas, coffee, Thai herbs. It is natural living, so no air-con, but there are 5 fans, and roof insulation.

While breakfast is included, Air is on hand to cook up her very popular homemade Thai food for lunch or dinner, using her own recipes, many handed down from her mum. We prepare all meals in our own small house nearby. She has good English skills. She offers you your own personal Thai cooking class, like no other! Philip can hold writing and any kind of education-based workshops for you. He is a non-conventional educator of language teachers, and has written and published his first book, which is all about holistic health and living a fulfilling and productive lifestyle. He is happy to have chats if you wish, and has 33 years of Thailand and Asian travel tales to share! He promotes a more spiritual kind of living. But of course, if you want full privacy, then this is the perfect place to spend time. We bring meals to you, and you can dine pondside on the patio or inside the Tea House. Only you will be staying here. We have a choice of quality books, magazines, games, 100s of CDs, and an African drum, ukulele and guitar for budding musicians. We think you will love the energetics of our lovingly built up living area! For two years it was a Tea House, and now we converted to a holiday space for one or two.

We are about half an hour from the airport, and maybe 35 minutes to the town centre, yet we are surrounded by typical northern Thailand countryside scenes. Mae Wang National Park is 30 minutes and 25 kms away, for Pha Chor, bamboo rafting, elephant riding, tubing, kayaking, trekking and world-class nature. Op Khan National Park is 30 minutes and 20 kms away. Grand Canyon Water Park is 15 minutes and 10 kms away. The huge San Pa Tong Buffalo Market on Saturdays is 15 minutes and 8 kms away: unmissable! Doi Inthanon is 1 hour and 70 kms away (highest mountain in Thailand). There are many other places to visit which we can recommend when you arrive. Our local market and convenience store is a 1 km walk, and there are several lovely cafes and temples within cycling distance. Just cycling around at exploration pace will reveal the full tropical and rural beauty of the Thailand countryside, including buffaloes, cows, paddy fields, nearby mountains, with Doi Inthanon easily visible. We have two bicycles for exploring the countryside around us, and for getting to local cafes and temples. You can get Grab taxis (local version of Uber) into town. If you have your own wheels, we have plenty of parking.
