Our company is Manu Career and Professional Development Co. Ltd. We actually started the company about two decades ago. We used our facilities to run several volunteer programs. Therefore, we named it V-House. We had many volunteers each month who used to stay here and help communities by teaching English, French, Italian, Chinese and other languages, to the primary school kids at free of cost. That helped a lot of kids to enhance their skills in speaking foreign languages. The city of Ayuthaya and overall Thailand need more young entrepreneurs and tour guides/translators who can speak foreign languages to hep tourism and other businesses. Before the pandemic, we used to have many volunteers each month coming from America, Australia, Europe, China, Korea, Japan, Thailand etc. and we offered reasonable accommodation, food and other services. Due to pandemic, our program stopped as our partners in those countries could not run and send volunteers due to restrictions on travel and social distancing. It has taken long time to resume the volunteer programs and not many volunteers are coming yet. Therefore to utilize our facilities, we started offering this facility for tourists, visitors or any interested people to stay. If anyone wants to teach English, French, German, Italian, Chinese, Japanese or other languages visiting schools for a week or so we can still arrange the customized programs. In addition to teaching languages, teaching can be different types of sports e.g. soccer/football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, etc. and also music and dance. If anyone has those skill and want to utilize to help the kids of the rural communities. Our property is located in a local community within the island of Ayutthaya city which is full of UNESCO's World Heritage sites. It is the former capital of Thailand about 220 years ago, it remained capital for about 517 years. There are more than nearly 1,000 temples and ruins in and around Ayutthaya. Therefore, people from all over the world visit this city to see and embrace the old history and ruined temples and other structures of about 600 years past. Our guest house buildings are for simple living in a quiet place. We have two buildings (House A and B) with 12 rooms in total. These buildings have only ground floor and the first floor. We have a kitchen and a open area to accommodate up to 10-15 people where we can arrange Thai Cooking classes. There are several types of coffee, tea and other drinks available including some light snacks. We have plenty of chairs in an open lounge or outdoor garden. We have washing machines, six bicycles for rent to go around the city. We also have a Tuk tuk to rent or for picking up and dropping off to the train or bus station from where guests can go to Bangkok or other cities.

V House is located just 100 m on the left after crossing the river bridge while coming from Bangkok along the Asian Highway that connects Bangkok to Chiang Mai. It is in a local community. There is Chinese temple Wat Chin on the front, and a Thai temple Suwandaram which used to be the temple of past king's families. In a 10 minute walking distance, there is Pam Phet fort, a strategic point for navigation & protection of the city or now a historical place where two rivers Pasak river and Lopburi river meet to become Chaophraya River which flows down to Bangkok. Guests can visit Wat Phanongchoeng which houses one of the largest sitting Buddha's statue by crossing the river by boat from Phomphet. There are many Thai restaurants and cafes along the river banks which offer dinner / lunch. Some of them may also have small boats or lunch/dinner cruises to go along the river while enjoying meals. Those restaurants along the riverside are in 10-20 min walking distances. There are grocery shops, local food vendors, medical clinics, banks and ATM machines, 7-11 and other grocery stores in 5 min walking distance. Train station is about 10 min walking or 5 min by Tuktuk, and bus to Bangkok at 10 min away by car / Tuktuk. There is a nice park under the bridge. Main market Chaophrom is about 10-15 min walking distance from the V House.
