Aika is a truly beautiful place: situated on a lovely hillside, forested with indigenous trees, and built among magnificent granite rocks, Aika offers a unique experience of quiet beauty for guests to enjoy. We make every effort to preserve and enrich our environment and are blessed with visits from eagle owls, kestrels, sunbirds, trogons, and of course monkeys and other friends. Aika has 3 beautiful separate bedrooms, each self contained with en-suite bathroom, one queen-size bed ideal for 2 people, a private living area, plenty of shelf space, work place and a safe locker. We welcome families, providing plenty of outdoor play area and swings, and two of the rooms with interconnecting doors. Guests have their own private entrance and key access to a spacious and well equipped kitchen, dining and living area, rock gardens, and viewing decks, unlimited free wifi, ample parking and full time security. Hi, I am Hilder, owner and host at Aika Sunrise. I am a Tanzania lady by birth, and my traditional name of Aika means "Thank you" in the Chaga language. I live on the premises with my husband and two young boys and three child-safe little dogs. I look forward every day to welcoming new guests, and hearing them express pleasure at the beautiful surroundings here. I hope you will soon be among them. The neighbourhood is Wilolesi, one of the best residential areas of Iringa. Aika is situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, among the granite and trees of the Wilolesi Hills. It's less than 2kms for the town centre, an easy walk of less than 20 minutes. The neighbourhood is very safe and quiet, away from the bustle of main roads, and busy nightclubs, but in easy reach of everywhere. Guests are free to enjoy a hike through the forest behind Aika.
