Mawe Mawili is located at Kwale Village approx 28 km from Tanga Local Airport (TGT/HTTG) a 20 km drive along the Mombasa Road (Horohoro border) to Mtimbwani village junction where you take a right turn to Kwale Village. Mawe Mawili offers a nice vacation spot with a beach and a magnificent sea view. Here you will be welcomed with a wonderful Swahili sea breeze. With the rooms facing the doorway of the magnificent Manza Bay you are likely to witness fishermen going to the sea and at night see their twinkling shining lights and in the morning be woken up by smooth sun rays.

Being a son of Kwale Village myself, I welcome you to witness the abundant bliss of Kwale and Manza Bay, from the breathtaking sunrise, the full moon rising, and stargazing to touring the village to see the People, their food and culture; the village forest and ancient ruins and the wind carrying you to the sea to witness the Kwale Island and Kwale Island Forest Reserve, sandbanks, snorkeling, and diving to explore the oceanic floor rich in coral reef and aquatic lifeforms. Located at Kwale Fishing Village in the aquatic-rich Manza Bay. The local community and its beautiful Swahili culture are very friendly and welcoming. The village also has a reserved forest with beautiful flora where sometimes you can spot white colobus monkeys and plenty of birds. Ancient Persian ruins are also available in the locality including an old Mosque. A walking trip to the nearby Vyeru Sardine Market can be arranged as you continue to enjoy the riches of Manza Bay. There are plenty of islands within reach consisting of rich biodiversity, a lighthouse, and pre-World War II British defensive structures which protected the Bay from invasions after the capture of German East Africa.
