We can now walk just a few hundred yards to The Athens Greenway & Georgia FireFly Trail (it also goes downtown but is 3 miles -the "Scenic route winding along the river. "I built my first Athens cottage as a test run for my next home which I'll build next door," he states, "yet I love the house so much, and it's so perfect for my twin girls and me that we've stayed and stayed. I just love the neighborhood more than any in Athens. There are so many unique amenities, distinct architecture, Athens vibe, and amazing food all within a mile. Why would we be anywhere else.

Most guests comment on how much they like the beauty and quiet safe feel of our tree-lined neighborhood surrounded by 40 acres of woods and a 34 acre lake. So many also comment on how they like the ease of the location to the highway loop, downtown Athens, and the UGA campus and especially all the Athens restaurants that are all an 8-10 min trip away or less. A few so far have actually enjoyed the trails and the greenway across from our neighborhood with 28 miles of wooded MTB trails, hiking trails and a paved greenway that connects to UGA, downtown and the Firefly trail which connects multiple towns across North Georgia, all right from our door. We think you'll like the peace and quiet and the amenities and if you take the trail to the lake you may enjoy feeding the geese too.
