Whether you’re driving cross country, enjoying a hunting or a fishing adventure, cheering on the K-State Wildcats, or just relaxing with a quiet getaway, The Attwood House offers comfortable and unique accommodations.This newly renovated 1910 home is not your typical B&B. Owner/innkeeper, Lillie Sharp, has worked and traveled abroad extensively. From the giant Tibetan drum in the entry way to the bronze Centurion statue standing guard in the European Suite, treasures found during her adventures are displayed and part of the décor. Finished your day of exploring or visiting friends or family? Hang out in the living room with its baby grand piano, sing karaoke, or watch TV and play games in the upstairs sitting room. Enjoy a game of disc golf in the city park across the street, croquet on the lawn, or take a spin on the B&B’s tandem bicycle. Sit on the patio relaxing to the sound of the waterfall. The Attwood House has lots of nooks and crannies to relax with a good book. A full breakfast is served each morning.

Lillie Sharp, Owner/Innkeeper is a retired school teacher. She began her career teaching music in southern Kansas and then spent six years teaching in Japan for the Department of Defense on military bases. San Diego was her next location before heading back overseas to teach again in Japan and also Germany, Iceland, and Italy. From Lillie: "In recent years people asked me when I would retire from teaching. My answer was always, "What would I do?" Not being one to just sit in my rocking chair I knew I needed something to keep me busy. When visiting family in 2014 I found this house for sale. I fell in love with the 1910 craftsman home and the idea of a B&B was born. So after 40 years of teaching and 20 years of it overseas, I turned in my lesson plans for the last time, renovated the house, and am now ready to welcome new friends to my home."

The Attwood House Bed and Breakfast has three luxurious bedrooms. Guests are free to enjoy the music room, dining room, screened in porch, outdoor patio, as well as the upstairs common room with TV and games. Bicycles, games, and sports equipment are available to guests. Amenities include free parking, internet, flat screen TV in each bedroom, and a full plated breakfast.
