The historic inn was purchased by Jeff and Polly Jones who have incorporated family heirloom furniture into the decor, including Grandma's 1927 fully restored baby grand piano and Mom's Lalique chandelier. The Jones are renovating the home which will be fully restored by the home's centennial anniversary in 2024. Jeff and Polly pledge to provide the best possible experience for their guests with clean comfortable accommodations and food prepared with love!
Located in the historic Silk Stocking District just four blocks from the beach and Pleasure Pier, and minutes from the Strand, this 1924 Mediterranean style Bed and Breakfast exhibits a comfortable elegance throughout. Originally constructed for Henry Trueheart Adriance, a partner in the first chartered real estate firm in Galveston, and his wife Eva Jones Adriance, a community organizer and hostess extraordinaire, the house sits on a third of an acre surrounded by lush tropical foliage, making it an ideal setting for a romantic getaway or a quick break from workday stress.
