Your hosts, Katy and Toryn, live in the house next door that features a borderless yard space. There is a small fence that creates privacy between the two units, and the yards are separated by elevation. Feel free to say hi if you see us around the property, but no expectation as we value out privacy as much as yours. We both enjoying hosting guests, spending time playing disc golf, enjoying nature, and playing with our friendly dog, Shasta.

Humboldt County is a rural area known historically for lumber, agriculture, and cannabis and is surrounded by breathtaking wilderness. Humboldt retains its country lifestyle while displaying a forward thinking and welcoming attitude. Manila is a small seaside town on the Samoa Peninsula, which is home to fisherman, surfers, hippies, and artists. The population in Manila is 1000 people, income ranging from low to medium, as is reflected in the neighborhood. The occasional abandoned vehicle and wandering houseless pedestrians are not an uncommon sight within Manila or the greater Humboldt county.
