Newly remodeled accessory dwelling unit located in great Oakland neighborhood called Maxwell Park. The subdivision was built in the 1920s and 1930s to cater to middle class families. The population here is diverse and there's a strong sense of community and pride of ownership.
We live in the main house. We just relocated to Oakland from Newark, California. Ruby works as an office manager in Berkeley and Paul is a real estate and mortgage broker. He is also a real estate developer specializing in multigenerational village communities.
Maxwell Park is by far one of the best and safest communities in East Oakland. It's located next to Mills College and close to both i-13 and i-580. It's just minutes away from Oakland Zoo, Downtown Oakland, Berkeley and San Francisco.
