The owners have been welcoming guests to the Rockland community for over 19 years. We are seasoned veterans at hospitality and work very hard to make every guests' stay a memorable one. As we like to say - in Maine every ordinary day can be truly extraordinary!

The Berry Manor Inn is listed on the National Registry and was one of the largest homes ever built in Rockland. The inn prides itself on presenting our guests with the grandeur and elegance of the Victorian era balanced with our guests’ comfort. Although we are in a historic building from the Victorian era we are not an inn that has chosen to cover all surfaces with knick-knacks or potpourri and are certainly not stuffy! The inn has lots of common space for guests to enjoy that includes an outdoor porch and gardens; a formal parlor with guest computer workstation and printer; a drawing room with jigsaw puzzles and lots of seating; library with drawers of DVDs, games and books; and a 24-hour guest pantry area with complimentary soda, tea, coffee, ice cream and homemade pie! Each of our guestrooms has its own working fireplace; in-room controlled heat and a/c; sitting area; plenty of electrical plugs, Wi-Fi, and its own en-suite private luxury bath, many featuring a whirlpool tub or body jet shower. Twice we have been recognized as a Top Ten B&B Inn in the US by TripAdvisor and work hard everyday with every guest to deliver a great guest experience to maintain this distinction.

Rockland is the geographic center of Midcoast Maine making it a very convenient place to call home while exploring the Maine coast. Recognized as a "Top 10 Coolest Towns” in Maine by Budget Travel, for its “salty edge”, blue-collar working town roots and its sense of being a real community not a tourist town. Named one of Maine’s top adventure towns by National Geographic Traveler in recognition of the activities offered in the area including biking, hiking, sailing, fishing, island hopping, kayaking, cross country skiing, snow shoeing , downhill skiing, tubing, tobogganing, golfing, skating, etc.. Rockland also is considered to be a foodie town having one of the highest ratios of restaurants per capita in the country and offering a range of dining from James Beard winners like Primo Restaurant to lobster shacks at the water’s edge. Lastly, Rockland is emerging as one of Maine's top art centers with the Farnsworth Art Museum and Wyeth Center, Maine Contemporary Art Center and about 20+ art galleries that call downtown Rockland home.
