Bluebird Cabin is a 25 year dream come true! Ever since Matt was first stationed in Virginia and we visited the Shenandoah Mountain area, we talked of making our way back and finding a little corner of this beautiful area for our family. Once he retired from the Air Force we settled in Virginia and now we have this peaceful cabin to enjoy the trees and comfort of this lovely area. As part of our new lives we also wanted to build a creative retreat for artists and writers to spend time away from their daily lives and be inspired to create. That is why we would like to share our cozy retreat with you!

We’re tucked away and private here, but we’re also close to so much! It’s the best of both worlds. Bryce Resort and Lake Laura are just a few miles up the road, and on the way there is a great little local spot with a bar, restaurant, ice cream shop, and mini golf. You can head out hiking or exploring in the local caverns, all a gorgeous scenic drive away.
