The property was totally remodeled in 2020. The house was named after the previous owner, who was a dear friend, and love lighthouses. The house is located on 2 acres of beautiful green lawn located on Fullard's Creek. The creek is a tidal creek that lets out to Chadwick Bay and ultimately open ocean. There is a boat ramp that will accommodate small skiffs and flat bottom boats during high tides. If you don't have a boat, two kayaks standby at the ready to explore Chadwick Bay It has beautiful new amenities such as a new gym for adults with top of the line equipment. There is an outdoor theater for children and adults, available upon request of the owner and weather permitting. A new volley ball court has been erected for your enjoyment and many other yard games for the everyone's enjoyment. The pristine beaches of North Topsail are just seven minutes away. Beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards and other beach essentials are provide for your convenience. Beach towel are the only thing you need to provide. At the end of the day, relax on the large front porch, light the fire on the fire pit and a glass of wine.

The Topsail area has the feel that you would expect from North Carolina coastal living. It is a mixture of Key West, Outer Banks, and Myrtle Beach without the traffic or the crowds. Within minutes of the cottage, there are restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, surf shops, and the local Food Lion. Sneads Ferry being a small fishing community, you can still find local fish markets with the catch of the day. In August, Sneads Ferry hosts the annual Shrimp Festival. For golfers, North Shores Golf Course is a well maintained course with scenic views only 5 minutes away. For boating, fishing, and watersports enthusiasts, the property has it own private boat ramp. Fullard's Creek is a tidal inlet that will accommodate shallow draft vessels during mean and high tides. Low tides are normally too shallow to get in or out of the inlet. The inlet is a tributary that flows into Chadwick Bay. The bay, in turn, flows into the New River where you can reach the Inter Coastal Waterway or the open Atlantic. Feel free to bring an appropriate size boats, jet skis, kayaks or canoes, and launch right from the convenience of your private property boat ramp or kayak launch.
