Gorgeous 3 Bedroom, 2 Full Bath Chalet, Sleeps up to 8, Dog-Friendly, Hot Tub, Fireplace, Finlandian Dry Sauna, Outdoor Fire Pit, BBQ Grill, Deck, Fully Equipped Kitchen, 3-minutes from Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort! Cascade Mountain Chalet sleeps 8 people. There are three bedrooms, each with King-sized beds. It comfortably sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms. A queen-size foam mattress is available that can accommodate up to 2 additional people (generally used for kids, younger guests). If there are 8 guests, please know space will be tight. All bedrooms boast flat-screen televisions, ceiling fans, closets, warm color schemes, and comfy linens. A pack-and-play is provided for your convenience. All linens are included. Each bedroom has warm, stylish colors and tasteful decor for a luxurious stay. The beds are comfortable and inviting for a restful night's sleep under beautiful, warm quilts. Extra pillows are on the beds for your enjoyment, and spare blankets are available for chilly nights. The ensuite master bedroom plus two other bedrooms are located upstairs. The ensuite bathroom has a walk-in shower. The second full bathroom is located on the main floor and has a shower/bath combo and full size washer and dryer for your convenience. The kitchen offers expansive granite countertops and a full complement of tools and appliances. Chairs around the granite table area enable your group to eat and gather together while viewing the beautiful wooded landscape outside. Views of the expansive backyard from the outdoor deck, an extension of the home's main level, are breathtaking. The deck contains a 5-person hot tub, Trex dining table, and chairs. The yard offers plenty of room for enjoying the great outdoors and a fire pit for making s'mores and memories!

Our home is ideally situated in the heart of New York's 6-million acre Adirondack Park. It's a 3-minute drive (1.8 miles) from the famed Olympic ski resort Whiteface Mountain; a beautiful 15-minute drive from Lake Placid; and steps from hiking trails that vary from relaxed walking beginner trails to expert trails. Be sure to visit the beautiful Wilmington Flume, a 3-minute drive from the chalet. Our home is close to Lake Everest at Wilmington Town Beach, which has boat rentals, kayaking, picnic area, playground, hiking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, paddle boarding, ice skating, weekly live music in summer, and so much more! Lake Placid is a beautiful 15-minute drive from Wilmington along NYS Route 86. Wilmington Notch on the way is breathtaking and has been designated part of the Olympic Scenic Byway. Hiking trailheads and beautiful High Falls Gorge are accessible right from the road! A charming, all-season resort town, Lake Placid boasts a Main Street, unique, locally-owned shops, loads of dining options, sporting and cultural events, a movie theater, mini-golf, and a waterfront park where live music is featured weekly during summer. The town also has supermarkets, delis, and other conveniences.
