Compared to similar units in the area, we have an air unit to cool the main level and loft for those summer months. In the winter months enjoy the gas fireplace to warm up after an outing in the snow. Enjoy the outdoors on our larger deck that fits a grill and patio table. Our unit is one of the larger units with 3 bedrooms on the lower level and a semi-private loft. We are 2 min. from Beech Mt Ski Resort. Have fun with the karaoke or a little mini shuffleboard. Our parking can accommodate 3 cars with a shared circle driveway. There is so much to do: hiking, skiing, Mt. Biking, fishing, Land of Oz, golf, pickleball, shopping, and much more. We are centrally located, 5 minutes from Beech Mt Club; enjoy Buckeye Lake, Sugar Mt, Grandfather Mt, Linville Falls, Boone, Blowing Rock, wooden roller-coaster, and much more! We are close to Fred's General store where you can pick up anything you need. There is so much to do: hiking, skiing, Mt. Biking, fishing, Land of Oz, golf, pickleball, shopping, and much more. We love watching all the wildlife in the area. Deer everywhere. We also have a Beech Mt. Club membership with access to golf, tennis, pickleball, a swimming pool, a fitness room, and restaurants. For a transfer fee, you can use these amenities during your stay. Message for details. This is a 1970's townhouse, you must be able to go up and down steps. *Please note: this is a very typical A-frame style home that is common to Beech Mountain. This means there are some staircases that are a bit steep and narrow. If you are traveling with infants, seniors, senior dogs, or anyone with mobility issues, this could potentially pose a challenge. The hot water works very well. Please be careful with young children. The ice maker does not work; however, there are ice cube trays, and at Fred’s general store on the mountain, you can purchase bags of ice and other grocery items.

Our family is very active . We love to visit areas that have activities. We love the water and all things behind the boat we love to do. We also love the cold water and you can find us snowboarding in the winter. We love the Beech area as we are snowboarders, Mt. bikers and hikers. We hope you love our home and the area as much as we do. Some things about the home. If using the red futon, underneath the futon, there is a blue foam pad that you can put on top of the futon and there are brown sheets for the red futon in the closet. The coffee maker takes pods or grounds as it is the duo ninja coffee maker. There is a mesh filter for the coffee grinds. There are instructions on how to switch from pods to grounds and vice versa. Always leave the black brew basket, inserted, whether you are using the pods or inserting the mesh filter for grounds. There is a printer, Epson XP – 310, Wi-Fi ready and there is a cable to connect your computer to the printer. Please leave this cable in the information binder for the home. If you are staying several weeks at the property and need a printer for work you may want to bring ink and paper for the printer. When using the grill please burn off any grease, cheese, or meat left on the grill. Set a timer so you don’t forget the grill is on.

Enjoy Beech Mt Ski Resort, Beech Mt. Clubhouse and Resort, Beech Mt. Land of OZ Theme Park, Moutain Bike or hike Emerald Outback, disc golf, and downhill mountain biking at the ski resort in the summer. Head over to Sugar Moutain for more skiing, Banner Elk offers shopping, dining, and Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster. Go see the singing bridge at Grandfather Mt. and hike to the highest peak in NC, Callaway Peak. See beautiful waterfalls at Linvill Falls. Head a little further to Boone and Blowing Rock for more activities. We have a circle drive that we share with the neighbor. Park in front of the townhouse.
