After years of living and working as an Electrician, we decided to make a big change in our lives and start a hospitality business! It’s been a dream of ours with a goal of creating more time at home to be with the family and children. The Enchanted Cottages are adorable and cozy vacation rentals and just a short walk to the ocean. We fell in love with the Enchanted Cottages the minute we laid eyes on them! The first night at the Enchanted Cottages, we walked outside. The street in front of our new adventure was quiet. Although we could not see the ocean, we could hear the surf – a heavenly sound! We hope you will come stay at our little cottages soon and enjoy the serene gardens and fountains, the comfortable, cozy accommodations, and all the wonderful things the Long Beach Peninsula has to offer: the beautiful Pacific Ocean and beaches, the many lakes, the Columbia River, the charming downtown area of Long Beach and its oceanfront boardwalk, the 8-mile paved Discovery Trail through the dunes, great restaurants, lighthouses, outdoors activities such as clam digging, crabbing, fishing, bicycling, hiking, beachcombing…there is no end to the adventures awaiting you! This property is about a 5-minute walk from the beach. Nestled near the brewery, great food and shops, these Seaview Enchanted Cottages offer a patio, fire pit, kitchen, and free Wi-Fi. Other amenities include salt water taffy and Long Beach Coffee are offered upon arrival. Featuring a patio with decorative lighting and a fire pit, each cottage or studio features a full kitchen or kitchenette, hardwood floors and an en-suite bathroom (The Captain's features an old-fashioned claw foot tub with bubble bath!). Built in 1926 with modern updates, Captain's Cottage has a ceiling height of 6’10”. The bathroom and kitchen have partially slanted ceilings. The Hollyhock Cottage has ceiling heights of 6’8″. In the living room it has a 7″-wide ceiling beam with 6’3″ clearance.. Enchanted Cottages offers free ROKU, basic cable and a blue ray player. A sun terrace is available. Towels and fresh linens are provided in all Enchanted Cottages by the sea. Located in the Heart of everything, just 1 block from North Jetty Brewery, 0.6 miles from the beach entrance or a 11 minute walk, Fort Columbia State Park is just 9.3 miles away. With close to 100 annual festivals and events across Pacific County, there is always something fun unfolding for families on the southwest corner of Washington state. Some of our family-friendly favorites on the near horizon are the Razor Clam Festival, the Black Lake Fishing Derby and Loyalty Days events and SummerFest, which kicks off in Long Beach on May 28 and runs every weekend through Sept. 5. Spring Break Family Kite Fun runs through April 22, Rod Run Classic Car Show in September, Kite Festival in August and countless more events being added monthly. But what about those rare days without festival fun? Well, don't fret! Family-friendly favorites: Walk, skate or bike the 5-mile Discovery Trail between Long Beach and Seaview. The trail is dotted with art installations that highlight the region’s historical roots and natural splendor. Wait, you haven’t taken a selfie with William Clark and his bronze sturgeon?
