We use TRUVI as part of our guest screening process. Your TRUVI application must match the primary guest name on the reservation, and your background check must be completed within 48 hours of receiving your booking confirmation as per State and City law. Your booking is NOT confirmed until these requirements have been fulfilled. Once the reservation is confirmed, and prior to check-in, guests must sign a Rental Agreement outlining the terms of the stay, stating that they agree with and acknowledge:
- To abide by our rental terms and conditions.
- To provide a copy of a valid government-issued ID and matching credit card prior to check-in.
- We collect a non-refundable damage waiver of USD 50, paid via TRUVI
- The waiver will cover you for any accidental damage during your stay
- Keep an eye out TRUVI will contact you for the next steps.

The max occupancy is 4. Day visitors are ok but must not stay overnight. You must also receive written approval before check-in of any visitor. There is a 250 USD per person fine for overnight guests over the max occupancy.
The cleaning fee at booking is a pass-through; the entire amount goes to our cleaning team! For 10 years, we partnered with a very professional cleaning crew, and we pay more than the average rate to guarantee a clean and safe environment for our guests.
The pool is serviced on Thursdays and the weekend around 9 AM but the pool technician does not make any noise.
The gardener goes to the property on Tuesday between 7:30 and 9:30 am.
If you'd like a mid-stay cleaning, the cost is 385 USD. Please notify us in advance to arrange it.
We provide a few complimentary home & bath essentials to get you started, like soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, paper towels & some laundry detergent. If there’s anything else you need, you'll need to purchase those items.
There are surveillance cameras on the outside of the property, strictly for security & guest safety.
Dog-friendly property (max 2 dogs) with prior authorization only, and a pet fee applies. Must clean up after your dog or incur a 150 USD additional cleaning fee.
The pool can be heated for an extra charge that must be requested and paid 36 hours before your check-in date, as it takes time to fully heat the pool. The charge to heat the pool is USD100/day (2 consecutive days minimum) and for 7 days or longer, there's a discounted rate of USD85/day.
The home is on well water with a septic tank. All pipes lead to the septic tank. Please follow these basic rules, as fees may apply if we need to repair the tank.
-Never flush anything other than toilet paper.
-Use the trash for all waste disposal. Food debris, cooking oil, fats, grease, coffee grounds, etc., go in the trash, not in the sink disposal.
-Avoid using any harsh chemicals.
The landscaper visits the property every Tuesday.

The home is off PCH (Pacific Coast Highway), up a windy road, up in a canyon where you’ll definitely find breathtaking mountain views and lots of local charm with artisanal shops and cafes along the canyon road. Also plenty of hiking trails to indulge in nature.
You’ll be about a 10-min drive to the beach and near restaurants, attractions, and shopping. You’ll receive a DIGITAL GUIDEBOOK with recommendations once you’re booked with us.
During heavy winds and dry weather, you will need to check if the City of Malibu has put up any notices. If so, you may not be able to use the fire pit during that time as it would pose a fire hazard risk.
