Bright and beachy – vacation mode starts the minute you walk in the front door of this second-floor condo. Stow your bags in one of the two comfortable bedrooms, load up the fridge, and head for the balcony with a frosty beverage in hand. After sufficiently decompressing, head back inside to survey your new digs. The light-filled main space features a well-equipped kitchen, with a full suite of appliances, ample counter space, and all the gadgets you need to whip up a snack or a feast. The adjacent dining area seats four, with room for two more at the breakfast bar. The living room features a flatscreen with cable and a comfortable couch for later – but now it’s time to make a beeline for the sand via the public beach access, just 0.1 mile away across the street. Visit the complex’s shared outdoor pool, take the two available adult-size bikes for a spin, or – if you’re feeling particularly energetic – visit the shared gym and sneak in a workout. After a day out enjoying all Orange Beach has to offer, head back to home base to settle in for the evening. The TV and couch await, or break out a board game for more together time. End the day as you began, out on your balcony, enjoying the ocean breeze.
