Solar powered string lights, a guide book, towels, camping cookware, and picnic area for reminiscing about the days adventure. We now have electricity inside the cabin! 🦎Geckos Inside the Cabin – These friendly little lizards are part of Hawaiian life. You’ll likely see them on walls or ceilings. They're harmless and actually help control insects, but if you're not used to wildlife, it's something to consider 🚽Shared Off‑Grid Bathhouse: Solar powered, flushing toilets, and showers but no potable water. Warm/Hot showers are not guaranteed, depends on how conservative guest are. Running on a propane water heater. Guests should be conservative with their water use since this is an off-grid facility with limited supply. 🐜Wildlife & Insects: Nature plays host to local critters—frogs, geckos, chickens and yes, mosquitoes, and ants—so please don’t be surprised if you see them. We do our best with treating the surrounding areas to keep bugs to a minimal. We ask you to clean up after yourselves and seal/close any leftover food to help keep the insects to a minimum. ⚠️PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS CAMPING IN HAWAII, it is not a luxurious accommodation. (I know, we’ve said it a couple of times but it’s important that you know and that you are not caught off guard.) We cannot control the weather and we cannot control the bugs.
