I am a strategist by vocation who loves to explore nature, connect with people, and share life-enriching experiences. For 20+ years, I have lived in the beautiful cities of Seattle and Tacoma, WA, USA. I am fortunate to steward an amazing home base—a former bed & breakfast in the historic North Slope District of Tacoma. My approach to hosting is informed by my travel experiences—rooted in authenticity, kindness, community and a bit of magic.
The “North Slope” has a blend of 900+ historic homes, apartments and commercial buildings from 1880 to 1953 - walkabout to check it out! Conveniences: A few great taverns, two pizza joints, good coffee, a bodega, a butcher, an iconic burger drive-in called “Frisko Freeze”, a playhouse, and a laundromat Sights: Wright Park, W.W. Seymour Botanical Conservatory, Rust Mansion, Ruston Way Waterfront, Stadium High School, University of Puget Sound campus, and Garfield Park Adjacent Districts: Stadium, Hilltop, and 6th Ave brim with distinctive character, and both Multicare Tacoma General Hospital and VMFH St. Joseph's campuses provide extensive healthcare services to our region

ANIMALS: We love animals; however, we are unable to host them because of allergies and the nature of our shared spaces.

WALKING: We highly recommended walking. There are amazing walks through our historic neighborhood in every direction - parks, architecture, restaurants included. Ask about our favorite walkabouts!
