Walk to Dustys Yacht Club for a quiet drink and conversation with locals or enjoy the scheduled entertainment. Want to rock a little, head to Upper Deck for an eclectic crowd and a little loud music. Also highly recommended, is Pick's on Portage Lakes Dr. and The Ramp on S. Main St 1/4 mile N of SR619. At any restaurant or bar nearby, you may be sitting next to someone worth millions or only a few thousand. The best part, it doesn't matter. If you want to know anything, just ask the nearest person. Take a walk from our home to Marina Dr and then a footpath to Lahm Dr and enjoy the New England charm of Turkeyfoot Island. Biking in the neighborhood is enjoyable. The speed limit on SR619 is 35 mph. Though it is a busy road at times, you can tour the lake roads. Remember that the most attractive side of the local houses face the water. Many homes have a garage facing the road and the house may barely be visible.
