You are required to read about the listing and all the house rules before your reservation. If you ignore this and book my listing and then have to cancel it, you alone will be held responsible and you will NOT get any refund because you choose to disrespect my house rules.

- No visitors/unbooked guests are allowed in.

- Book the room for the actual number of guests staying, e.g., if two people are staying or if you have one visitor, book the room for two people.

- Provide the official name(s) of the other guest(s) in the booking message if you book a room/bed for one person or more besides yourself.

- Any guest must make a reservation by herself/himself and have a picture clearly identifying herself/himself so that the host knows whom to welcome.

- Text me your check-in and check-out time.

- Text me about half an hour before arrival.

-This is an older house and so the stairs creak a bit when someone goes up or down the stairs. If you are a light sleeper, please let me know if you need ear plugs, or I can suggest a better room for you.

- Do not park across from the neighbor's driveway entrance because it'd be difficult for them to back out and we want to keep everyone's car safe. There's a $50 fine for parking there every time.

- To ensure safety, lock the entrance door every time after you come in and every time before you leave the house. There's a $50 fine every time you don't follow this rule.

-Turn off the light in a room before leaving it to save energy.

- Being drunk is forbidden. Anyone drunk is required to stay elsewhere.

- Each visit to the bathroom is limited to 20 minutes maximum to ensure other guests can use it. If you have to stay in the bathroom for longer than that, do NOT book this listing. Book a hotel room or a listing that comes with a private bathroom instead.

- Check and clean the bathroom and toilet every time after you use it to keep it as clean as the time you check in.

- Eating in bed is forbidden.

- Do NOT take away the room key, the polarized grounded adapter, or the ceiling fan/light remote control or anything that belongs to the room and house. Otherwise, you will be charged for the replacement. The replacement for the remote control is $200 because a new ceiling fan & light has to be installed.

- Any guest to this room has to be a non-smoker.This is a non-smoking place that is NOT able to host any smoker . If you're a smoker and book this place, you will be asked to leave without a refund and a fee of $ 100 will be charged for breaking this house rule.

- No littering, no yelling or cussing in or around or outside the house or in any parking area. Violation will be subject to a $50 fine every time.

- Illegal activities are forbidden.

- Please leave your shoes in the shoe cabinet by the entry door once inside the house every time.

- No shoes are allowed in the washer or dryer. There's a $100 fine if you wash or dry your shoes in the washer or dryer.

- Quiet hours are from 10pm-7am.

- Clean up after yourself especially in shared space. Clean your own room and throw away trash (to trash container outside) and recyclables (to recycle container outside) as often as possible to avoid attracting bugs into the house.

- Due to the owner's allergies, this listing is unable to host any animals.

- The room temperature is set at 73 degrees F in summer and around 65 degrees F in winter. No electric heater is allowed in this room as it will overload the 15 amps limit and knock out the power on the 2nd floor.

- You are required to wash your hands well with soap after using and/or cleaning the toilet to make sure the house is clean.

- Read and respect all other house rules (usually posted in the house) to ensure a comfortable stay for everyone.

- Be respectful and thoughtful. Respect the house and everyone else in the house. Do NOT disturb anyone else in any way. You may be asked to leave without a refund if you make anyone uncomfortable.

- If you do not follow any house rule, I will remind you. Please do NOT take it personal. My job is to make sure everyone follows the house rules to maintain a safe, clean, quiet and comfortable place for everyone. If you do not want to follow house rules or take reminders, I respectfully ask that you look elsewhere.

- If you stay long term(28 nights or longer), you will be in charge of your own daily essentials/supplies and we'll take turns taking public trash out and cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms.
